扫描电镜检测是材料微观形貌观察必不可少的研究手段,但水凝胶材料由于含有大量水分或有机溶剂,无法直接放入电镜中观察。电镜工作需要维持高真空环境,而水分在真空中会迅速挥发,导致图像异常甚至电镜故障。

因此,对于水凝胶样品,通常需要进行冷冻干燥处理,将水分去除后再进行拍摄。

在做扫描电镜(SEM)测试时,大部分同学已经了解了SEM测试样品的相关要求,但是仍然有一部分同学不太清楚,今天铄思百检测小编整理了关于“SEM测试样品要求”希望能帮到大家!

SEM测试样品要求如下:

1.粉末、液体、薄膜、块体均可。粉末10mg,块体样品直径≤1cm,厚度<1cm,;薄膜尺寸小于1*1*0.5cm;

2.混凝土,珊瑚沙,气凝胶,水凝胶等需要抽真空时间非常长的样品尺寸请尽可能直径≤5mm,厚度≤5mm

3. 需要脆断的样品,尺寸需要≥2*2cm,厚度<0.5cm,较厚的样品建议尺寸准备大些;

要求样品无毒、无放射性、干燥无污染、热稳定性好、耐电子束轰击。

SEM测试制样流程:

1、块体:直接用导电胶粘在样品台上测试,若需拍块体/薄膜截面,需明确截面制备方法,一般可以提供剪刀裁剪和液氮脆断两种方式;

2、液体:用移液枪取样品超声后的悬浊液,滴一滴于硅片或锡纸上,自然风干/红外灯烘干,烘干后将硅片或锡纸用导电胶粘在样品台上测试;

3、粉末:(1)直接用导电胶粘在样品台上测试;(2)乙醇分散制样:取少量样品于离心管中,加入 一定量无水乙醇(或水),室温超声 5-10min,随后采用 2 中液体的制样方式制样测试。

SEM测试样品要求注意事项:

1、样品含水,湿润是不能做SEM的;

2、易分解样品需明确分解条件(如温度等),若样品极易分解可能不能安排测试,因为分解后产生物质可能对测试仪器造成影响;

3、水凝胶等易吸潮样品寄样前请先确认样品暴露 4-5h 内是否会出现明显的吸潮现象,测试过程中样品吸潮会影响拍摄的同时也会对仪器造成损伤;

4、导电性不好(如半导体金属氧化物、生物样品及塑料、陶瓷等)或强磁样品建议选择喷金,不喷金可能会影响拍摄效果。

表面形貌观察、EDS能谱点扫、EDS能谱线扫、EDS能谱面扫(mapping);可镀金,非磁、弱磁、强磁样品,生物样品均可拍摄。
