沉淀聚合（英文名称 precipitation polymerization）是指生成的聚合物不溶于其单体，或者单体和引发剂能溶于反应介质，而生成的聚合物不能溶于反应介质，聚合物生成后就从反应体系中沉淀出来，这种聚合方法成为沉淀聚合。

沉淀聚合，聚合物粒径均匀，洁净，聚合体系粘度低，无需表面活性剂及稳定剂。但微球产率低，溶剂毒性高。
